One to One

Whatever way you want to introduce others to this message there are materials and information to support you.

Invite people to hear Maharaji speak. Offer an interested person the opportunity to hear him speak in person by visiting http://www.wordsofpeace.net/ or by calling 08450 76 77 78. They can leave their details and will be sent an invitation to his next public event.

Share introductory materials with friends. Get printed articles, CDs, and DVDs ( see below for places you can get them from).

There are four very low cost DVDs available. The first two ‘Designed for Joy’ and ‘You’ve Got It’ are in English only. ‘Yeh Sundar Jeevan’ is in English and Hindi and Yeh Baat Hai Anand Ki is in Hindi only. Order all from http://www.wordsofpeace.net/

Use the new ‘A Spectacular Dream’ leaflet (available locally or via www.wordsofpeace.net). The leaflet is only 5p a copy so you can order hundreds or even thousands and try inserting them in local magazines.

Show a DVD at work. Present a “Lunch-and-Learn” programme. Think of settings where groups may be looking for a speaker as an addition to their regular meeting. Let clubs, businesses and friends know that you and/or your team are available to do presentations during a time when they might normally invite a guest speaker with an interesting topic. See section on ‘Local outreach, exhibitions and fairs’ for more information.

Some helpful hints about communication

How do we communicate well? We present in ways that make sense to recipients – not just to us.

It’s ok to enjoy the message for a lifetime.

We present and inform – not ‘sell’.

We let people draw their own conclusions, make their own choices – and not attempt to sway them.

There’s absolutely no pressure to receive Knowledge.

We let Maharaji, the Message and the Humanitarian Efforts stand on their own (we don’t mix them up).

We don’t seek credibility by disparaging others.

We communicate in a manner acceptable to local cultures.

We maintain our values at all times.

FAQ’s In your own words

Here’s a suggestion - try answering these common questions with ease and self-confidence – whoever you meet :

1. Who is Maharaji and what does he do?
2. What does he offer?
3. Why are you interested in him?
4. What do you get out of it?
5. What is Knowledge?

We’re all different – no-one can tell you what to say - so let’s use our own words…

One very important MUST DO Rule! Have fun! Enjoy yourself!
Oops, that’s two (and anyway they’re not rules, they’re guidelines…)
