Words of Peace information centre

Words of Peace centre

The Words of Peace Information Centre opened a year ago in a suburb of Norwich and has been a source of propagation and inspiration ever since. It is in a small shop that was very run down. It is rented out monthly for a peppercorn rent as the landlord was just happy for it to be used for a good purpose rather than left standing to deteriorate. Volunteers spent a month turning it into a lovely environment, with counter tops, and display stands.

It is open on Saturdays and Tuesday evenings for a couple of hours. Local volunteers take it in turns to man the centre. There is a Keys library, with DVD players if anyone wants to watch a DVD or a Key at the centre. This has really been a help for people who do not have a DVD player or who can’t watch at home.

People who have heard about Maharaji’s message are invited to come to the centre to find out more and if they so wish take away the Keys. People with Knowledge also love coming to the centre to take away the Keys or other materials and chat about what they can do the help.

Local propagation activities such as the DVDs in shops and cafes and local articles and adverts in magazines advertise the centre on a regular basis, and some people have responded and then decided to find out more as a result of such efforts.

Here are some of the comments from volunteers in the Captains Log that is kept to record any activity:

Another wonderful day – magical - thank you!

A chilly autumn morning but
lovely and cosy inside. Quite a busy first half hour with someone on the Keys.
He was coming in for Key two, and is watching them with his wife. He said; “we
really look forwards to watching them, they have made such difference to our
lives, we think we would like to keep them (the Keys) but then no, we want to go on!”
